Detroit Man Arrested in Fatal Marion County Hit-and-Run Crash
A Detroit, Michigan man was arrested Wednesday afternoon in connection to a fatal hit and run crash that occurred this past Tuesday morning near Waldo in Marion County.
According to a release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, troopers with the Patrol’s Special Response Team arrested 47-year-old Devon R. Kennedy at a residence in Columbus.
Kennedy was transported to the Franklin County Corrections Center where he is being held on a charge of aggravated vehicular homicide.
He will be arraigned in Marion Municipal Court at a later date.
The crash occurred on US 23 in Marion County and claimed the life of 27-year-old Dempsy L. DeAngelo, of Marion.
