Rotary District 6670 hosted its annual District Four-Way Test Speech Contest on Sunday, February 22, at Wright State University’s Millett Hall Atrium. The event brought together approximately two dozen student contestants—club-level winners from across the district—to present speeches centered on Rotary’s Four-Way Test.

The contest provided students with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of Rotary’s values while strengthening their public speaking skills. It also offered Rotarians and community members the chance to meet and support outstanding youth leaders from throughout the district.

Representing the Bellefontaine Rotary Club were Jake Moreland, a junior at Bellefontaine High School, and Greyson Wagoner, a senior at Benjamin Logan High School. The pair qualified for the district competition by placing in the top two at the club level on February 2.

At the district contest, Moreland was named a finalist and earned an impressive third-place finish, receiving a $200 cash prize for his achievement.

The District Four-Way Test Speech Contest continues to highlight Rotary’s commitment to youth development, ethical leadership, and Service Above Self.
