Elwood Motorsports Dominates at Quaker City, Shatters Track Record in Debut Appearance
Elwood Motorsports traveled to Salem, Ohio on Saturday for their first ever visit to Quaker City Motorsports Park.
Alan Elwood, AJ Roderick and crew walked the track to get a feel for the layout and the kart was set up for the state of the art facility.
Practice got underway at 9:30 am and after four laps Elwood would be atop the leaderboard, shattering the track record by a full second.
Alan would lead the field out for qualifying and again he would set fastest lap and secure the pole position. The Pre Final race would see Elwood lead from wire to wire with second place a few kart lengths back.
Elwood would make a few minor adjustments then go out for the final. The green flagged dropped and Elwood would dominate the entire race winning by six seconds and again crushing the track record.
Elwood Motorsports returns to Motorsports Country Club August 22 – 24 for the next to last round of the Pro AM Series where Elwood is second in the points.
