The Findlay Police Department has announced the promotion of Kasey Schroeder to the rank of Sergeant. Sergeant Schroeder was sworn in by Mayor Christina Muryn Tuesday morning at the Findlay Municipal Building.
Sergeant Schroeder is a graduate of Mohawk High School. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law Enforcement and Corrections and a Master’s Degree in Justice Administration from Tiffin University. Sergeant Schroeder began her law enforcement career with the Findlay Police Department in August of 2018, after completing her Ohio Peace Officer Certification at Rhodes State College.

During her tenure with the department, Sergeant Schroeder has served in a variety of roles, including Field Training Officer, Crisis Management Team Operator, Less Lethal Instructor, Recruitment Team member and Leader of the Critical Incident Stress Management team.
Sergeant Schroeder is married to her husband Matt and they have two children.
Sergeant Schroeder will be assigned to the Patrol Division.
