The Forest Sanctuary, a community garden in Forest is growing strong.
Forest Sanctuary is a non-profit Ohio organization founded by private supporters and grants related to community betterment, music and the arts. It is a residential, working land project supported by the vision of WholeFam.org.
Residents of the village can help themselves to the fresh produce in the garden, which is located at the former Presbyterian Chapel.
Corn is coming soon, followed by pumpkins in the call and plenty of squash.
The produce is grown with care, no chemicals, and no cost.
The garden is there to feed village residents and to help keep resources close to home.
