Hardin County 911 and 988 are working together to strengthen local crisis response.
Hardin County 988 staff recently visited the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office to learn more about 911 operations, which included how calls are handled, transferred, and dispatched.
The visit is part of ongoing work to improve coordination between 911 and 988 so callers can connect with the support that best fits their needs.
These site visits are designed to build a better understanding of how each system operates and help develop effective call transfer procedures.
Hardin County 911 staff will visit 988 later this month as the partnership continues.
