Hardin County BPW Club Awards Scholarship to ONU Nursing Student Kylie Allmon
The Hardin County Business and Professional Women’s Club met earlier this month to review and select their scholarship winner.
Following discussion and a vote of several worthwhile candidates, the members selected Kylie Allmon of Kenton.
A check for $500 was awarded to her.
Allmon, who is the daughter of Darrel and Shannon Allmon, is a Junior at Ohio Northern University, and the scholarship will help with her expenses to achieve a Bachelor of Nursing degree, which is a 4 year program.
She is volunteering this summer with Nurses Without Borders in the Dominican Republic to access more training.
