
The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office issued a release concerning the death of a deputy.
The release states that the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office is saddened to report the death of Detective Bryan Bodine on Tuesday, July 15.
Detective Bodine had served the citizens of Hardin County for the past 12 years as an enforcement deputy, K-9 handler and detective.
He will be sadly missed as a valued friend and member of the Sheriff’s Office staff.
The release also extended special appreciation to Logan County Sheriff Randall Dodds and his staff for their assistance during this time, as well as to numerous other Law Enforcement and first aid responder agencies who have assisted and offered their support.
No other information is being released about Detective Bodine’s death.
