Hardin Northern Students Build Towers in STEM Challenge

Hardin Northern 2nd and 3rd grade STEM students took on a fun engineering challenge on Monday.

They built the tallest tower possible using only wooden pencils and masking tape, and it had to hold an apple at the top.

Students had to work together, test their ideas, make adjustments, and figure out what would make their towers strong and stable.

While a few towers didn’t quite make it, there was plenty of creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork.
