Investigation Leads to Arrest of Logan County Man
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office released information on a search warrant that was served at a residence last week.
The warrant was executed by the Logan County Unified Drug Task Force on County Road 130 in Bellefontaine.
Joseph Clifford, the homeowner, was arrested on a felony warrant for trafficking in cocaine.
Law enforcement discovered a gallon-sized plastic bag covered in cocaine residue next to the toilet, as well as a large quantity of what is believed to be illegally pressed pills containing narcotics inside the toilet.
Additional items seized included a significant amount of psilocybin mushrooms, various pills, approximately $28,000 in cash, and a handgun.
Additional charges have been forwarded to the Logan County Prosecutor’s Office.
