Kenton Seniors Receive More Than $301,000 in Scholarships at 2026 Awards Ceremony

It was another big year at the Kenton High School Senior Awards Day Ceremony.

R.E. and Joan Allen Foundation Scholarships totaled $73,000 and were awarded to 44 seniors.

The Local Scholarships total, including scholarships with separate applications, was $54,375 given to seniors.

Dollars for Scholarships was $16,500 given to 32 seniors.

and, Kenton Excellence for Education Foundation was $158,000 given to 40 seniors.

High School Counselor Amy Kohl added it all up, “So the total dollar amounts of the R.E. and Joan S. Allen Foundation, the Dollars for Scholars, the Kenton Excellence for Education Foundation, and other local scholarships is $301,875. Thank you again to the many, many people in this community who make this possible for our graduates.”

The ceremony was held at the Performing Arts Center in the new Kenton Middle High School.
