
A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Franklin and Market Streets in Kenton at just before 9am Thursday morning.
According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, 70-year-old Wanda Hale, of Kenton, was walking across Market Street in the crosswalk, when she was hit by a car being driven by 38-year-old Michele Sherman, of Kenton, who was turning left from Franklin Street.
Hale was transported to Lima Memorial Hospital by BKP Ambulance for treatment of injuries.
Sherman was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
