The Kenton Police and Fire Departments’ Beat the Heat Swim Meet Tuesday evening was a huge success.

According to information on the Kenton Police Departments Facebook page, from the lightning-fast Stingrays to the enthusiastic, if not exactly Olympic-level, officer relays, it was a night full of laughter, cheers, and big splashes.

More importantly, they came together to support Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio.

Admission was by donation, and the proceeds went to DSACO.

Organizers thanked everyone who showed up, donated, raced, and cheered.

They noted that they are already looking forward to next year after a little more swim practice.
