Kenton’s Longest Day of Play Returns Friday with Day-Long Family Fun

The City of Kenton‘s 3rd Annual Longest Day of Play is taking over the town this Friday, June 19.

Activities are being planned at parks from morning until dusk.

From active games to cool refreshments, the ultimate lineup of family-friendly fun for participants of all ages is being planned.

Friday, June 19 | 8 AM – 9 PM

8:00–10:00 AMVeterans Memorial Park/Boy Scout Lake. Fishing- Bring your own poles and supplies if you have them; limited equipment available.

10:00 AM • Veterans Memorial Park Pickleball Bring your own paddle if you have one; limited equipment provided. All skill levels welcome.

11:00 AM • Veterans Memorial Park Basketball All skill levels welcome.

12:00 PM • Veterans Memorial Park Shelter House Lunch (United Methodist Church, while supplies last)

1:00 PM • Murray Park Splash Pad & Chalk

2:00 PM • Wharton Park Kenton Professional Firefighter’s Local 563 Agility Course

3:00 PM • Wharton Park Games & Popsicles

4:00 PM • Wharton Park Sack Lunch (St. John’s Church while supplies last)

5:00 PMChad Roof Inclusive Playground Popsicles

6:00–9:00 PM Kenton Municipal Swimming Pool ($2 admission)

This is a family event—please plan to stay and enjoy the day together (not a drop‑off).
