The Kenton Fire Department has embarked on a collaboration with the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps’ Medic Program.
It will focus on enhancing the skills and preparedness of young cadets.
Captain Bob Wilson announced late last week, the donation of crucial medical supplies, including an Automated External Defibrillator, to the Kenton JROTC.
his significant contribution is set to enhance the capabilities of the JROTC’s Medic Program, a vital initiative aimed at equipping students with essential life-saving skills.
The donation follows the successful certification of JROTC Medics in CPR and First-Aid, a training initiative led by the Kenton Fire Department.
This certification ensures that the cadets are prepared to handle real-life medical situations with confidence and competence.
