
The Logan County History Center will host Dan Bratka for a White House Color Team presentation as part of America 250 on April 15.
Bratka, past president of the Logan County Historical Society, served in the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard from 1973 through 1976. During that time, he was the Air Force member of the White House Color Team from late 1975 through the Bicentennial Year (1976).
He attended 10 state dinners honoring visiting foreign heads of state, including Emperor Hirohito of Japan on his first visit to the U.S., and Queen Elizabeth of Great Britain.
The presentation will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m. April 15 at 521 East Columbus Avenue in Bellefontaine.
