Kenton, OH – There’s a new pregame tradition headed to Kenton. Ohio State has skull sessions and Kenton will soon have the “Wildcat Walk.”

“We knew we needed to make some adjustments with the move to the new school,” said Travis Wissman, Band Director at Kenton City Schools. “We drew inspiration from several college programs that have pre-game band traditions. Each one we looked at engaged fans.”

The public is invited to join the band around 6:30 in the Fieldhouse Parking Lot or line Harding Avenue as the band approaches Robinson Field.

“We’re excited,” said Wissman. “We think this tradition will be around for many generations to come.”
