
A domestic dispute in Marysville escalated over the weekend, when 22-year-old Samuel Matthew McNeely allegedly stabbed his stepfather during an altercation at a residence on Cotton Slash Road.
Emergency services responded promptly after a 911 call was placed around 7:00 p.m Sunday evening. The stepfather sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Memorial Hospital for treatment and was released.

McNeely fled the scene but was later apprehended in Raymond, Ohio.
McNeely has been charged with Felonious Assault with a deadly weapon, Domestic Violence, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He is currently being held at the Tri County Regional Jail and is set to appear before the Marysville Municipal Court today.
