New Military Operating Area Established Near Findlay; May Involve F-16 Flights from Toledo
Findlay Airport authorities announced that a new Military Operating Area, or MOA, is operating in the district.
The M-STINGER MOA is basically a 20 x 20 nautical mile box south of Toledo.
This will most likely be used by the F-16’s out of Toledo Express.
These activities are very near the Findlay, Bluffton, Allen County, and Van Wert Airports.
Cleveland Air Route Traffic Control Center is listed as the controlling agent.
