Polls Open Across Hardin County for Primary Election Day

Today is Primary Election Day.

Four candidates are vying for the Republican nomination in the Hardin County Commissioner’s race.

They are Bob Carder, of Kenton, Michael Kasler, of LaRue, Michelle Laubis, of Kenton and Paul Osborne, of Alger.

The winner will face Daryl Flowers, of Kenton, who is the lone Democrat to file, in the November election.

In the Hardin County Auditor’s race, Republicans Michael Orr and Mark Schwemer will face off in the primary, with the winner running unopposed this fall.

Independent candidates had until yesterday, May 4, to file.

Also, the Riverdale School District has a one percent income tax renewal levy on the ballot.

Polls are open until 7:30 this evening.
