Volunteers are needed for the American Red Cross Disaster Action Team in the Hardin County area.
As we know from Wednesday’s brush with severe weather, the spring season events have the potential to leave behind a lot of devastation that will require Red Cross assistance.
Unfortunately, no matter where you live, there will be local families impacted by fires and other local disaster events and they will have a critical need for emergency assistance and support.
If you would be interested in helping these families, you are being asked to consider volunteering as a Disaster Action Team (DAT) Member. DAT volunteers respond directly to the scenes of home fires, floods, and other disasters. They help families start the recovery process during their toughest moments. This hands-on role is especially needed throughout Ohio communities, where help is desperately needed.
Sign up today at https://www.redcross.org/volunteer to help make a difference for these families in need.
Volunteer schedules are very flexible and all training is free.
