Revitalize Kenton: a community partnership

24 volunteers showed up this past Saturday for Revitalize Kenton‘s Downtown Clean-Up Day.

They ranged in age from children up to 80 years old volunteers.

According to organizers, 70 man hours were invested in the clean-up effort.

The crew worked on the hill in the parking lot by the Kenton Theatre, did some weed eating, worked in the Alltel and Gene Autry Park areas and cleaned up trash.

Volunteers reported that they found less trash than last year.

Revitalize Kenton is a community partnership lead by a group of volunteers interested in seeing their community flourish.
