Revitalize Kenton, is presenting “Rock the Block” —a downtown community festival taking place on September 26, 2026. From 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Franklin St will be blocked off from Detroit to Leighton St.
This is what is planned:
• Morning (10 a.m. – 3 p.m.): “Market on Main” Farmer’s Market on Franklin St.
• “The Rock The Block Cornhole Classic” – 4 pm and will be on Franklin St. Arcade Games at the Varsity Venue, Outdoor Jumbo TV live streaming college football games outside of Varsity Venue.
• Food & Drink (3–10 p.m.): Variety of food truck options will be in the parking lot by the Kenton 3 Theater PLUS a beer & wine tent for adults on Franklin St by the genealogy building.
• Kenton 3 Theater (4 p.m.): FREE screening of “Runaway Train” with free popcorn and drinks at Kenton Theater 3, sponsored by “Ohio Goes To The Movies”.
• Main Event (6 p.m.– 10 p.m.) Live outdoor concert featuring “My Cousin Eddie” Band on Franklin St.
