A Roundhead man was arrested Thursday afternoon following a pursuit with Hardin County Sheriff’s Deputies.

According to a release, a traffic stop was initiated at around 4:30 Thursday afternoon near the intersection of County Roads 50 and 15 as the result of a felony investigation.

The driver was positively identified as Damon M. Kaiser, who had numerous felony warrants.

Kaiser failed to comply with visual and audible signals displayed by Deputies and fled into Allen County.

During the 12-mile pursuit, the suspect committed numerous moving violations including attempting to ram the pursuing cruisers.

Deputies were able to successfully complete a Pursuit Termination Technique on Reservoir Road just prior to entering the City of Lima.

Kaiser resisted arrest but was taken into custody.

He was treated at Lima Memorial Hospital for minor injuries and was then transported to the Multi County Jail in Marion.

In connection to the investigation, a search warrant was served at Kaiser’s reported residence located at 1336 Township Road 180 in Roundhead.

Suspected narcotics were found at the residence.

Kaiser is being held on the felony warrants, felony drug trafficking charges and failure to comply.

Additional charges are pending.
