Rural Kenton Man Arraigned on 16 Sexual Offenses Involving Minor; Pleads Not Guilty
A rural Kenton man was arraigned on Monday on a 16 count indictment for sexual offenses involving a minor.
56 year old Rickie Lee Stephens pleaded not guilty to 13 counts of public indecency and one count each of attempted gross sexual imposition, compelling prostitution and importuning.
Bond was set at $15,000 cash, surety or 10 percent, with numerous terms he must follow when he is released on bail.
The indictments allege that Stephens engaged in lewd sexual conduct in the proximity of a minor.
He is also accused of attempting to have sexual contact with a child less than 13 years old.
The incidents allegedly occurred from around November 1, 2023 through December 31, that year.
A jury trial has been scheduled for November 5 and 6.
