Scattered power outages remain today for residents around Hardin County.

The late-night storms brought high wind gusts, lightning and rain across the region.

As a result, Mid-Ohio Energy reported that over 9 three-phase poles were broken at the ground along County Road 90.

Down power lines were also reported in the area of State Route 81, between County Roads 115 and 125.

American Electric Power shows that there are scattered outages impacting customers especially in the northern section of Hardin County.

Flooding will be the biggest concern now.

The area remains under a Flood Watch through Sunday morning.

Multiple rounds of rain will occur into the weekend with the heaviest rain expected Saturday into Saturday night.

Soils remain moist and excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

People in the watch area, especially those living in areas prone to flooding, should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

Monitor the latest forecasts and be alert for possible flood warnings.
