The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office had two employees recently complete a 40-hour course from the Public Training Council.
Deputy Tim Moe, Dispatch Supervisor Emily Roy, and law enforcement personnel from Ohio and adjoining states received specialized training in multiple areas, including Basics of Hostage Negotiation, Mental Health and Wellness for the Hostage Negotiator, Equipment for the Hostage Negotiation Team and more.
Training consisted of classroom work as well as scenario-based training.
