Kenton, OH – May 15, 2026 – United Way of Hardin County proudly hosted its Annual Meeting this week, marking another year of meaningful service, collaboration, and generosity. The event brought together local leaders, volunteers, partner agencies, and supporters to celebrate the collective impact that strengthens Hardin County communities.
The event highlighted the work of 2025/26 Honorary Chairs, Jayna and Zach Jansen, owners of Scooter’s Coffee, and included the presentation of four distinguished awards honoring individuals and organizations that embody the spirit of partnership and civic engagement:
The evening also featured the beloved Bonnie McBride Pie Auction, a heartwarming—and delicious—tradition that raised significant funds for local programs. Named in honor of longtime supporter Bonnie McBride, the auction continues to inspire generosity and community spirit year after year.
“We are grateful for the unwavering support of our partners, volunteers, and donors,” said Martha Nau, Executive Director – United Way Hardin County. “This event reminds us of the power of community and how much we can achieve when we work together.”
The Annual Meeting included a review of the year’s accomplishments, updates on funded initiatives, and a preview of upcoming campaigns focused on education, health, financial stability, and community resilience.
