Visitors Can Explore Hardin County History and Add to America 250 Time Capsule

Hardin County Historical Museums does not have a booth at the Hardin County Fair this year, but they will still be close to the fairgrounds this weekend.

They will be at the Beech Grove Schoolhouse next to the fairgrounds in Kenton as part of Ohio Open Doors.

You can visit and learn about education in Hardin County history.

You can also write a letter to future generations, which will become part of Hardin County’s America 250 Time Capsule.

Your words will preserve the voices and perspectives of Hardin County in 2026 for those who will open the time capsule decades from now.
