Waynesfield Police Chief Nathan Motter was invited to read a couple of books during the children’s weekly story time at White Memorial Library in Waynesfield earlier this week.

Nearly 30 people attended, and they heard about the various types of calls police encounter.

They also got to see the equipment Chief Motter wears, and asked questions about the job.

All the kids in attendance were given the title of junior police officer.
