Former Kenton Teacher Pleads Not Guilty

A former Kenton school teacher made an initial appearance Wednesday morning (Aug 23) in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.

34 year old Dustin Clapsaddle was arrested this past weekend after being indicted on charges of rape, sexual battery, gross sexual imposition and kidnapping.

Clapsaddle was represeted by his attorney Terry Hord and pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Bond was set at $250,000 cash or surety.

He is not to leave Hardin County except for purposes of employment, but not out of the State of Ohio.

Clapsadle was ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim and no contact with anyone under the age of 18 without adult supervision.

He must also prepay for the cost of an ankle monitor through the date of the trial, which was set for November 15, 16 and 17 in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.
