Lima Police Department Seeking Person of Interest in Recent Shooting Death of Lima Man

On Tuesday, November 26, Lima police officers were dispatched to 438 Kenilworth Street where they found 31-year-old Nick Roach suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
He died a short time later at St. Rita’s Medical Center.
According to a release, officers were following up on some leads Sunday and identified the person of interest as 43-year-old Javin Mayo, of Lima.
A search warrant was served at an apartment in the 200 block of North Cable Road, but Mayo had left just prior to officers arriving and is still at large.
