Hardin Northern will celebrate the graduating class of 2025, Sunday, May 18th at 2PM. The school will also induct national champion basketball coach Dr. Juli Fulks into their Hall of Distinction. Fulks, currently the head coach of Marshall University women’s basketball, will then address the graduates and their families.

Before joining Marshall, Dr. Fulks served as the head coach of Lewis & Clark College and Transylvania University. Transylvania dominated Division III women’s basketball under the guidance of Fulks winning six straight HCAC Championships, six consecutive conference tournament championships, an Elite Eight, two Final Fours, and the 2023 NCAA Division III National Championship. The Pioneers also went on a 64 game win streak under Fulks good for the third longest streak in D-III history.

As a player, the Hardin County Sports Hall of Fame inductee broke the Hardin Northern points record before heading to college to be part of the Capital University 1997 Final Four team. She would also win conference championships in both basketball and volleyball.

Dr. Fulks also maintained a strong focus on academics earning her B.A. in Biology, a masters in education, and her Ph.D. in Leadership Studies.
