2-mill Logan County Board of DD levy set for November ballot

The Logan County Board of Developmental Disabilities is asking voters to consider a temporary 5-year, 2 mill levy on November 3.

For the owner of a home with an auditor appraised value of $100,000, the levy would cost approximately $5.83 a month.

The Logan County Board of Developmental Disabilities announced that they have not received additional levy funding in 21 years.

The levy provides funding and support for more than 700 people with developmental disabilities and their families over their lifetime in Logan County.

The Board stated that if the levy does not pass, Early Intervention, Discovery Center Preschool, Special Olympics and Family Support services will be reduced or eliminated.
