Ada Police Warn of Phone Scam Spoofing Department Number
The Ada Police Department issued a scam alert on Thursday.
Someone spoofing the phone number for the Ada Police Department attempted to scam an individual claiming they represented the department.
If you receive a call from the office and someone attempts to obtain money from you or claim that you have warrants or charges pending that need to be taken care of, you are advised to hang-up.
You should then call the department at 419-634-0010 and request to speak with an officer.
