Alger Man Pleads Guilty to Involuntary Manslaughter in Hardin County

An Alger man changed his plea and was found guilty on one count of involuntary manslaughter in Hardin County Common Pleas Court Wednesday.

Logan Olivieri was indicted in April of this year on one count of involuntary manslaughter, one count of corrupting another with drugs and one count of trafficking in a Fentanyl-related compound.

The offenses led to the death of Todd A. Risner in November of 2023.

Judge Steve Christopher ordered a presentence investigation and set the sentencing date for October 15.
