Alger Mayor Provides Update on Dollar General Project

Dollar General in Alger is still coming to the village.

Alger Mayor Von Summa said the process has slowed, but it’s still on track.

He said the project slowed because the company moved away from its original contractor and had to start over.

Mayor Summa did not speculate as to an exact date for opening, but he does not believe it will be this year.
