Auglaize County Crash Claims the Life of Lima Man
A Lima man died in a crash that occurred around noon on Thursday in Auglaize County.
Hometown Stations reported that 86 year old Charles Mayer drove onto State Route 501 from Infirmary Road and his vehicle was struck by a northbound minivan.
Mayer was transported to St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima where he later died.
The driver of the minivan was treated at the scene.
