Average Gas Price Increases; Hardin County Still Cheapest in Region

The average price for a gallon of gas in Hardin County climbed 8 cents from last week.

 

AAA reported that the average price for a gallon of regular grade gas is $2.54, compared to $2.46 last Monday.

 

Despite the increase, Hardin County still has the cheapest average price in our region.

 

The most expensive price is in Marion County where the average per gallon is $2.69.

 

The statewide average per gallon is $2.60, and the national average is $2.56 a gallon.
