Backpack Blessings Event Set for Saturday at Upper Scioto Valley Schools
Alger First Methodist Church will hold the 12th Annual Upper Scioto Valley Backpack Blessings this Saturday, August 1.
The drive-thru event will run from 9:00 to 11:00 am at the Upper Scioto Valley School District front parking lot in McGuffey.
All USV School District students will receive a backpack and school supplies for free.
The event is for USV students only, including USV Hi-Point students.
A child must accompany the parent/guardian to participate before 10:00 am.
This event is made possible through the efforts of The Alger First Methodist Church plus Hardin County Community Foundation and Mid-Ohio Energy Community grant monies and donations from local businesses, organizations, local churches and community members of Upper Scioto Valley Schools and surrounding areas.
