Blue Star Mothers Ohio Chapter 32 Distribute Record 72 ‘Thank-A-Vet’ Bags Across Three Counties
Blue Star Mothers Ohio Chapter 32 was able to pass out all 72 Thank-A-Vet bags, which is the most they’ve ever had, this past weekend.
Members stated that they were grateful for the opportunity to honor all the Veterans in local nursing homes with the individualized goodie bags.
This year, they reached 9 different nursing homes across Hardin, Logan, and Wyandot Counties.
They also attended the Veterans Breakfast at the Kenton Elks where they handed out their Operation Gratitude bags.
They then visited the VFW in Forest for their Veterans Dinner and shared more Operation Gratitude bags.
The group also delivered Operation Gratitude bags to the AMVETS in Kenton for their Veterans Day event.
