Bluffton University to Present 124th Performance of ‘Messiah’

BLUFFTON, Ohio—Bluffton University will present its 124th performance of Handel’s “Messiah” at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, in Yoder Recital Hall.

While tickets are free, seats must be reserved at http://tickets.bluffton.edu or at Marbeck Center.

Dr. Bo Young Kang, director of choral activities, will conduct the oratorio. Soloists along with the Bluffton Choral Society including students, faculty, staff and community members will be accompanied by an orchestra. Audience members are invited to bring their score to sing along on two of the major choruses—“Glory to God” and “Hallelujah Chorus.”

Soloists are Hannah Lee, soprano; Rhy-Kyung Kim, mezzo; Benjamin Bunsold, tenor; and Robert Kerr, bass.

The event will also be streamed live at bluffton.edu/messiah
