
The Findlay Police Department released the body camera footage of the officer involved shooting incident this past Wednesday afternoon in Findlay.
According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, officers were dispatched to 1642 Cherry Lane at around 1:45pm to investigate a report of a shooting.
Officers went to the door, and it was opened by a man who is said to have brandished a firearm, and officers fired several rounds at the suspect, striking him several times.
The suspect has been identified as Robert Norton, 90, who was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No officers were injured, and no one else was in the house.
The investigation is being conducted by the BCI investigative unit, and the bodycam will be released tomorrow.
The body camera footage and timeline of the incident was released at a press conference this (Friday) afternoon.
