BPD Accepting Applications Starting August 1 to Next Citizen’s Police Academy

Applications to attend the next Citizens’ Police Academy may be picked up at the Bellefontaine Police Department. 

Completed applications will be accepted beginning August 1, 2021.

The Citizens’ Police Academy gives participants an opportunity to learn about the day-to-day operations of the Bellefontaine Police Department.

The program provides a unique learning experience. 

Officers and staff conduct training in areas of their own expertise. 

Participants become aware of how the police department functions in the community.
