Breaking and Entering Reported on Leighton Street Monday
A breaking and entering occurred Monday evening in Kenton.
According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of North Leighton Street to investigate the crime in progress.
An unknown suspect broke a window on a door at the rear of the residence and damaged a door knob on the garage in an attempt to gain entry.
It is not known if anything was stolen, and the incident remains under investigation.
