Car Slides into Sign Sunday Evening

A car was damaged after it slid on the ice and struck a stop sign Sunday evening in Kenton.

 

According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, 50 year old Vonda Perkins, of Kenton, attempted to make a right turn from Espy Street onto Robinson Avenue, and the car slid on the ice and struck the sign knocking it over.

 

Moderate damage occurred to the car.

 

Perkins was not injured.
