Commissioners Accept Bid for Nursing Home Beds at Recent Meeting

At a recent meeting, the Hardin County Commissioners held a bid opening for Hardin Hills Health Center Sale of Operating Rights to the 78 Licensed Nursing Home Beds and Optional Sale of Real Property.

One bid received from Vancrest Health Care Centers was approved and awarded.

The bed bid was for $390,000 and the real property bid was for $150,000.

Also at the recent meeting, per the recommendation of the commissioners, Sharon Huston, Stephanie Wilson, and Nancy Motter will continue employment until no longer needed for records and reporting needs.

Jerry Jamison will continue until all assets are sold and out of the building and his services are no longer needed, and Brandy Baughman will continue until September 6.
