The Hardin County Commissioners got an update on several projects at a recent meeting.
Jacqualine Fitzgerald from the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance said the old McKitrick Hospital is expected to be demolished in 2020. She said the estimate for the project is $75,000.
She also said turbines for a wind farm should be delivered starting in April 2010, and some workers may use area rental properties.
It was also noted that Ralphie’s in Kenton is hoping to be open sometime in late October.
Fitzgerald closed out her report by informing the commissioners that she is stepping down from Economic Development but will continue with the Community Development role at the Alliance.
