All Hardin County grounds, facilities and vehicles will be tobacco and smoke-free zones after a resolution was passed by Hardin County Commissioners on Thursday.
The exception is the Hardin County Fairgrounds. The ban only includes inside the buildings on that property.
This means the use of tobacco, electronic cigarettes, vaping and smoking will be prohibited when the resolution takes effect January 1, 2020.
The Commissioners say the action was taken for the health and well being of employees and the general public.
