Seven people were sentenced recently in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.
According to documents from Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s Office:
.Dustin Cannode was sentenced to a total of 10 years and 5 months in prison on three counts of aggravated arson and one count each of arson and trafficking in marijuana.
The charges are in connection to several arson fires from April of 2018.
Four fires were set at homes on Leighton, Walnut, Tracey and Leonard Streets. Two of the homes were occupied, but there were no injuries.
.A.J. E. Custard was sentenced to 4 years in prison on one count of aggravated robbery.
.Tony R. Gipson was sentenced to 24 months in prison on one count of operating a vehicle while under the influence.
.Michael A. Manns was sentenced to 17 months in prison on one count of tampering with evidence.
.Kurtis T. Gibbons was sentenced to 6 months in prison on one count of trafficking in marijuana.
The following two individuals were each placed on five years community control with conditions:
.Tyler V. Hodge on one count of attempted aggravated arson. He must serve 30 days local incarceration.
.Willis E. Ball on one count of failure to stop after an accident. He must pay just over $11,000 in restitution and serve 14 days local incarceration.
All cases were heard by Judge Scott Barrett.
